 Kazuma Sohma is a master of karate who taught Kyo karate. He also taught several younger Sohmas including Yuki, Hatsuharu and Kagura and runs a dojo near the Sohma main house. After Kyo's mother died, Kazuma took-in Kyo and raised him as his foster son. When Kazuma sees of Kyo's genuine 'happiness' around Tohru, he wanted to test Tohru's feelings whether he would accept Kyo for who he is by revealing to her the cat's true form. Moreover, Kazuma also wanted to show Kyo that there would be someone who would accept him for his true form. In the manga, Saki Hanajima, Tohru's psychic friend, took the job as a cook in Kazuma's dojo and implies that they're in a relationship. |
