Sorry for the unexpected hiatus. My body finally gave in and my flu lasted for three days. Actually, I'm still recovering -.- and really looking forward to get away from the sickness. I just found two job openings and I want to look lean and mean when I apply.
There will be a two day job fair and I must catch it. I caught a flu instead but that's not the point. It's important to apply for another job. It'll be a great help -- not to mention $$$.
I'm getting bored with my old job. But don' get me wrong, I like my old job. My schedule there is really flexible. I could inform my boss and tell them when to work.
Tomorrow, May will be over. June's here. And then, the next thing you know is Christmas, Summer... brr. Say it ain't so.
Almost forgot Summer and Autumn.
A young lady was waiting for her flight in the boarding room of a big airport. As she would need to wait many hours, she decided to buy a book to spend her time. She also bought a packet of cookies.
She sat down in an armchair, in the VIP of the airport, to rest and read in peace. Beside the armchair where the packet of cookies lay, a man sat down in the next seat, opened his magazine and started reading.
When she took out the first cookie, the man took one also. She felt irritated but said nothing. She just thought "What a nerve! If I was in the mood I would punch him for daring!"
For each cookie she took, the man took one too. This was infuriating her but she didn't want to cause a scene.
When only one cookie remained, she thought "ah... What will this abusive man do now?" Then, the man taking the last cookie, divided it into half, giving her one half. "Ah! That was too much!" she was much too angry now.
In a huff, she took her book, her things and stormed to the boarding place.
When she sat down in her seat, inside the plane, she looked into her purse to take her eyeglasses and to her surprise, her packet of cookies was there, untouched, unopened!
She felt so ashamed. She realzed that she was wrng. She had forgotten that her cookies were kept in her purse.
The man had divided his cookies with her, without feeling angered or bitter... while she had been very angry, thinking that she as dividing her cookies with him. And now there was no chance to explain herself nor to apologize.
There are four things that you cannot recover. (in my opinion they're hard to recover)
The stone after the throw.
The word after it's said.
The occasion after the loss.
The time after it's gone

Yep. I've been able to confirm that my friend received a one year contract to play his music in China. What a freaking winner. Actually his band received the one year contract. He's the lead guitarist. He's also my bandmate but he has his own and I have my own as well. I have three different bands back in the Philippines. One with my childhood friends, with Sam, the guy who's going to China, another with my High school friends and the third band with my college buddies. Our college band is called Ham and Egg.
my high school band. Cris, a retard, and Raffy.
ham and egg practicing in the dorm. Jaya, a retard on a box, Rom, Lando, Rannon is missing and Ralph is holding the camera
brads: John and Sam and....
sisters: Nice, Lovely and Dines.
They're members of my childhood band. (we really had a hard time coming up with a name other than Emsiyemai)
I miss all of these guys and gals. I just want to wish Sam God's speed and success to their venture. Come to think of it, does he understand Chinese? He told me he can't but Chinese understand English. Yeah, I have to agree but not all. Anyway, to wherever he's going, they'd probably play to an English oriented audience.
Master beat! Master beat!
The exhausting concert was worth it.
Have you ever experienced something where you're sitting on a couch, minding your business, or sitting in front of the PC, or wherever you're idling and just suddenly... suddenly, a small wind picks your tongue up and the next thing you know is you miss a dish. I mean, while I was typing on the keyboard, I suddenly remembered the taste of Mami (a native soup with noodles and meat and veggies and mouthwatering stuff -- it isn't ramen though). It has been a long time and I really really miss that dish. It's one of my favorite comfort food back in the Philippines -- not that I'm uncomfortable here. Anyway, we have to cook Mami here in Canada!
I told my mommy to cook Mami for me, *hehe* and I hope she figured that I was serious.
By the way:
My cough is still here.
where were you at 5:16 AM?

This sucks. Not a decent post over the week. I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted inside and outside. Before I forget: Happy Mother's day! Looks like I'll have trouble updating this fansite for a while until I get my act together. I'm currently planning and adjusting my schedule regarding work and off- work. I'm still not settled with my time slots, plus I've come down with a flu. I couldn't think straight. This freaking flu affected everything. I might have pushed myself over the limit last Tuesday. I never thought that I'd be this enthusiastic; willing to finish hundreds of things at once. When you're in a job interview and if they ask what are your weaknesses, tell them you're enthusiastic. It's actually a strength in disguise. Ay't time to hit the bed. I'm sick. To everything that is good on this Earth, why am I still writing?
Haha, I felt jealous when I saw a barkada group pic on my friend's friendster profile. How I wish to be on that group pic as well. Deep sigh, I miss my friends. I'm stuck here abroad. It would take some time to go back to the Philippines. Yeah, I'm ranting just a bit about it. Okay now here's one old barkada pic when I was in third year high. Spot me -- if you can.
I'm the guy behind the lad in the red shirt.
I will have my third job training coming Sunday. I have no idea how to get to where they want me to meet. And I'm a little nervous of public transportation. I'm asking for my father to help. I just hope he's available. I don't want to bother him because he's also busy. But I think he could consider my asking for help a little bit.
